Ranam is an upcoming malayalam action thriller film starring prithviraj sukumaran ,rahman,and isha thalvar as lead roles,the film is directed by debutant Nirmal Sahadev, and produced by anand payyannur rani and lawson biju.initialy mamtha mohandas wast expected to be the female lead,then later due to date issues, it was decided that isha thalvar is going to be the feamale lead.

Most  parts of the movie were filmed in united states,and rest are done in kerala.as per the reports ‘jacobinte swargarajyam’ fame ashwin kumar is playing one of the major role in the film
